RAF Binocular Gauge/Rule
The Accommodation Gauge is intended as an aid to assessing a subject’s near-point of convergence and their ability to accommodate. It can also aid in assessing a subject’s ability to read text at a convenient reading distance and can suggest an appropriate reading addition for a corrective prescription.
Comprised of a four-sided scale bar, a sliding component with a four-sided drum that can be rotated to present four different faces to the subject, a face-rest to stabilise the device against the subjects face so that it is correctly juxtaposed to their eyes and an ergonomic handle to be comfortably held by the clinician.
